Orthopedic Group Supports Local Non-Profits LWRr Medical Center and Arthritis Foundation

Sarasota, FL, November 29, 2018 – 360-ORTHOPEDICS is proud to announce their support of two important non-profit organization events to be held in December. They are the Lakewood Ranch Medical Center Nursing Scholarship Fund and the Arthritis Foundation.
On Saturday, December 15, the 360-ORTHOPEDICS team “Achy Breaky Bones” will sponsor the “Jingle Bell Run” at Benderson Park to raise money for the Arthritis Foundation in their quest to find a cure. Forty million people in the United States have some form of arthritis. This year, the Medical Honoree of the Arthritis Foundation is Jeffrey Silverstein, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with 360-ORTHOPEDICS, who has committed to champion this cause. This family friendly event begins at 6:00 pm and there will be entertainment, refreshments, and Santa. Registration is at www.JBR.org/manasota.
On Friday, December 21 at 6pm, SOA is the title sponsor for the Lakewood Ranch 5K Jingle Run to be held at LWR Main Street. This is a family event and features almost 3,000 runners supporting the LWR Medical Center Nursing Scholarship Fund. With the aging population of Baby Boomers, there is a national shortage of nurses with the most intense deficiency found in the South. The 360-ORTHOPEDICS team, “Achy Breaky Bones” consists of 25 runners, including 360-ORTHOPEDICS physicians. Registration for the run is at www.TheJingle5k.org.
